About

I am an accredited therapist by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) working in both the NHS and private practice. I currently split my working week by providing therapy for the Priory Clinic and for my own private clients. Following a career in elite performance sport (judo), I became aware of the importance of the relationship between physical and psychological health and wanted to provide a programme of therapeutic interventions available to all. As a result of my experience and qualifications, I developed a comprehensive style of therapy to provide expert guidance through Cognitive Behavioural therapy for a range of psychological disorders. Alongside CBT and using a person centered approach, elements of Muscle Relaxation and Mindfulness are often incorporated.

My expertise in physical therapy ensures that physical health care problems can be addressed which sometimes link with common psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression. In the therapy environment, I can help you identify and address your psychological needs using recognised cognitive behavioural strategies. For those clients who suffer from physical limitations such as heart and lung disease, diabetes, excess weight or musculoskeletal conditions affecting their psychological health, I can provide a comprehensive therapeutic programme addressing your psychological and physical needs.

I am able to provide therapy in English and Farsi and can help clients overcome cultural barriers whilst also addressing their psychological and physical needs.
